Wipe Out

written by Bob Berryhill, Pat Connolly, Jim Fuller and Ron Wilson

The Surfaris are an American surf music band formed in Glendora, California, in 1962.

The original band members were Ron Wilson (drums, vocals), Jim Fuller (lead guitar), Bob Berryhill (rhythm guitar), and Pat Connolly (bass).

They wrote "Wipe Out" almost on the spot while at Pal Recording Studio in Cucamonga, California, in late 1962, when they realized they needed a suitable B-side for the intended "Surfer Joe" single.

The song reached #2 nationally in 1963 before becoming an international hit.
